Well, last week I posted here about scheduling my repeat c-section despite wanting to try for a VBAC. We went in on Tuesday morning, and our baby girl was born at 11:35am.

Okay, so it's been suggested to me several times and I just have to ask, has anyone actually NOT shown up for a c-section that was scheduled? Has anyone ever successfully canceled a c-section one day prior to the date it was scheduled for? I can't imagine the outcome of not showing up for the c-section would be very good.

I am semi-accepting of the fact that I have to have a c-section: Prior section in this area of FL require a repeat one, and apparently because of HPV and the displaysia (sp) that was discovered recently, also requires that I have a c-section. What I am grumpy about is the fact that my OB says I have to have it a week to 10 days before my due date. ( Read more... )

I'm vomiting. I have a splitting headache. I can't sleep. I still have ends I need to tie up before going into the hospital to have this baby. I have to go through outpatient this afternoon to have pre-op bloodwork done for my scheduled c-section on Monday morning. Should I see if I can be seen at the clinic too?

I will get to meet my son in ten days. I'm really fatigued right now. I don't have enough energy to put all the laundry away nevermind chase my 2 year old around. She's been not wanting to take naps and refusing to fall asleep in her own bed again.
